Alexander Johan Hjalmar Skarsgård was born August 25, 1976, in Stockholm, Sweden. He is the son of famous Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård and ex-wife, doctor My Skarsgård.
Has four younger brothers, Gustaf, Sam, Bill and Walter, and has one younger sister, Eija.

What you don't know about Alex: He is a genuine guy. What you see is what you get with him. At PaleyFest 2009 Alex took the time to meet with all of his fans, took pictures, signed autographs, made jokes and kissed and was simply adorable with everyone. He was the last one to leave the stage and he would have stayed if the place didn't have to close out!
